Cuts Fitness For Men Franchise Proving To Be A Healthy Investment For Entrepreneurs

Short workout equals big profits for gender exclusive fitness franchise owners

America's fastest growing men's fitness franchise expands to 200 locations in only 3 years and, if past performance is any indication, the future is looking fit for franchisees

Cuts Fitness For Men Fitness is big business and considering hectic work schedules and other time constraints, offering customers a way to shape up in a 30-minute workout is keeping the Cuts Fitness For Men franchise healthy. According to Franchise Fitness Director Bryan Healy, "The ability to help people within your community achieve a healthier lifestyle while controlling your own financial destiny" is one of the most unique aspects of owning a Cuts Fitness For Men franchise.

Since the first opening of a Cuts fitness center in New Jersey in 2003, the company has expanded to over 200 franchises. The exclusive Body Cuts System, which is a 30-minute circuit training and cardiovascular workout, is especially desirable to men who do not have the time or desire to spend hours working out in a traditional fitness center. The unique concept of a short workout in the convenience of a gender exclusive environment is appealing to many clients, especially those between the target ages of 25-60.

"There are several characteristics that create an ideal Cuts Fitness franchisee," says Bryan Healy, Franchise Fitness Director. "These include passion, financial stability and knowledge of the fitness industry."

Investors can expect to spend a franchise fee of $39,500, which includes fitness equipment, training, marketing and public relations support and other similar expenses. Additional costs will include a monthly $400 royalty payment and a $250 advertising fee. As part of the franchise fee, each new location will be provided with both strength training and cardio workout stations.

As a recommendation to all potential franchise owners, Healy comments, "Cuts Fitness franchisees need to understand the fitness industry and the importance of marketing their franchise at a local level, leveraging the Cuts Fitness national brand awareness." In an effort to prepare their new investors with the right tools for success, the franchisor provides two days of intensive training designed to educate owners with everything needed to open a new facility.

As a general rule, Cuts Fitness For Men recommends that each franchise location be between 1,500-2,000 square feet. In addition to maintaining a comfortable environment for clients, it is the franchisor's belief that this compact size will provide a good return on investment per square foot. Although financing is not offered directly through the franchisor, they presently work with a third party to help with loans for those interested in developing a new franchise location.
